Asian Services In Action (ASIA) Announces 2010 Dr. James K.C. Juan Scholarship Fund
For the fifth year, ASIA is pleased to announce the availability of awards through Dr. James K.C. Juan Scholarship. This award provides financial assistance to college-bound or presently college enrolled Asian American student in Ohio who has demonstrated scholastic achievement, shown concern for the community, and who best represents Dr. Juan’s legacy and his contributions to education. Originally formed to promote education study by Asian students, the scholarship committee this year will award scholarships statewide to students in any field or major. One of the awards will be designated for someone who is pursuing education as a major.
The Dr. James K.C. Juan Scholarship was established for Dr. Juan’s 90th birthday by friends and family to honor his lifelong dedication to education.
